The decorative resin bound surface in your chosen Vuba blend. Smooth, permeable and free of loose stones.Depth: 1/2" pedestrian, 5/8" drive on, 3/4" turning vehicles
VubaMac: the resin bound base
A permeable, resin bound base course that replaces traditional tarmac. It gives the surface a strong, flexible platform without trapping water.Depth: 1/2" pedestrian, 1 1/4" drive on, 1 1/2" turning vehicles
SRM: reinforcement mesh
Mesh reinforcement laid within the build up spreads the load from vehicles, helping prevent cracking and rutting.
Capping layer
A finer, compacted stone layer that gives an even, level bed for the base above.
No fines stone sub base
Clean, open graded stone with no dust or fines, so rainwater drains straight through and the base stays SuDS compliant.
Geotextile membrane
Separates the stone from the soil, stopping it sinking in and keeping weeds from coming up.
Sub soil
We dig out to a firm formation level and check the ground before anything goes down. Getting this right is what makes the rest last.

What guarantee do I get on a resin driveway?
We give a 5 year workmanship guarantee on every installation. As an approved Vuba installer, the Vuba resin system itself also carries a 25 year product guarantee from Vuba.
How much does a resin driveway cost?

What is VubaMac?
VubaMac is Vuba's permeable, resin bound base course. It sits under the decorative resin layer, reinforced with mesh, on a free draining stone sub base and geotextile membrane, so water drains through and the surface stays stable. See how the layers work.
Do I need planning permission for a resin driveway?
Usually not. Resin bound surfaces are permeable, so a front driveway over 5 square metres normally falls under permitted development. We confirm this for your property during the free site survey.
What is the difference between resin bound and resin bonded?
Resin bound mixes the stone into the resin before it is laid, giving a smooth, permeable finish with no loose stones. Resin bonded scatters stone onto a resin coat, giving a rougher finish that is not permeable. We install resin bound.
